Over 11,500 Vintage Cars Heading For Louisville!
Memphis, Tennessee: - Over 11,500 street rods will be on hand at the Kentucky Expo Center this summer as the National Street Rod Association® presents its 39th Annual Street Rod Nationals®. The dates for the city’s largest vintage car show will be July 31, August 1, 2, 3, 2008.
This will be the 14th time the NSRA Street Rod Nationals® have been held in Louisville and an all time high number of participants and spectators are expected this year. Almost all of the Kentucky Expo Center will be utilized for the event as well as most of the buildings, which will house over 325 manufacturer and dealer displays and other attractions.
The host organization, NSRA, defines a street rod as a modernized vintage vehicle that must be of pre 1949 manufacture. These vehicles are equipped with the latest options available on the newest model vehicles, including but not limited to disc brakes, air conditioning, cruise control, and tilt steering wheel. Most of those attending have updated the engine and drive train to enable the owner to cruise down the highway in comfort and safely maintain the speeds traveled by more modern vehicles. This enables owners to drive their vehicles from all over the United States. All vehicles must be driven on to the grounds.
This is truly a national gathering of fine vintage automobiles of every description. The NSRA Street Rod Nationals is the area’s largest participation event and many spectators from around the area will attend the event.

2008 21st ANNUAL NSRA SOUTHEAST NATIONALS
What: NSRA Southeast Nationals, the areas largest, most spectacular specialty vehicle event.
When: Friday, Saturday & Sunday October 10,11,12
Where: Florida State Fairgrounds, Tampa, Florida
Features: There will be over 1600 pre-1979 specialty vehicles from all over the Southeastern United States and farther. These vehicles will be painted every color of the rainbow and they will have very luxurious interiors equipped with items such as leather upholstery, air-conditioning, high-end stereos, cruise control and power everything. Anything you can equip a new car with, you will find on these vehicles. All of the vehicles must be driven to the event site to be eligible to win one of many awards that will be presented at the event.
Attractions: The vehicles will be on display for public viewing throughout the event. There will also be a variety of activities such as kids and adult games, Women’s World/Arts & Crafts Show, Friday evening entertainment, Model Car Display, a vintage automobile swap meet, a Lip Sync Contest and a non-denominational church service on Sunday. There will also be NSRA’S own Super Prize Program, worth over $100,000, and last but certainly not least there will be three drawings for cash give-aways. All you have to do to be eligible to win any of the prizes is to be a registered participant of the 2008 Southeast Nationals. All prizes are courtesy of the National Street Rod Association.
Special Displays: On Sunday, October 12, the award winning vehicles of the Southeast Nationals will be on display at the “Circle of Winners” awards area. The awards ceremony will take place at 2:00 p.m. Sunday.
Trade Show: More than 100 manufacturers and dealers of specialty automotive equipment will be displaying and selling their products, accessories and supplies in the spacious exhibit building. A special Women’s World area will feature assorted arts & crafts and antiques from collectors around the area.

Adults - $14, Children 6 to 12 - $5, and Children 5 and under - free when accompanied by an adult. Discounted tickets are priced at $12.00 for seniors, (60 years of age and older) and military personnel with proper identification. Also priced at $12.00 are discounted tickets for NSRA members with a current membership card. Only one discount ticket per ID for the three categories. Tickets for the event are on sale ONLY at the fairgrounds.

FEATURES:
More than 2000 pre-1949 street rods from all over the country will be in attendance.
These colorful street rods are the stars of the show.
VALUE:
At the Rocky Mountain Street Rod Nationals, there will be in excess of fifty million dollars worth of cars. Most street rods are valued from $10,000 to $40,000 for an average of $25,000 per vehicle.
SPECIAL ATTRACTIONS:
· Women’s World, an Arts and Crafts Fair, will be held in conjunction with the event
· A vintage auto parts swap meet will be held for three days
· Live entertainment will be featured on Friday and Saturday nights at the fairgrounds amphitheatre
· Music, games and fun for the entire family will be in abundance throughout the weekend

TRADE EXHIBITS:
Nearly 75 manufacturers and dealers of specialty automotive equipment will be selling their parts, supplies, and accessories in the exhibit building during the three- day event. Companies such as PPG, American Racing Wheels, Walker Radiator, Miller Welding and Yearwood Speed and Custom and will be some of the major exhibitors in attendance. It is a good time to see the products and shop for those accessories for your projects.
AWARDS:
On Saturday, June 29th, there will be a “Streets of Rods” area at the Colorado State Fairgrounds set aside for the display of special featured vehicles:
· A Street called “Under 29” featuring vehicles owned by and registered to NSRA members less than 30 years of age
· A street called “Detail Drive” for all vehicles with detailed engines and engine compartments
· A Street called “Pavement Pounders” for all vehicles and owners that get out and “drive their vehicles”
· A Street called “Commercial Court” for all pickup trucks, panels and sedan deliveries
On Sunday, June 29th, an awards program will be held at 2:00 P.M. at the outdoor stage area featuring the award winning cars of the 24th NSRA Rocky Mountain Street Rod Nationals.
OTHER SPECIAL FEATURES:
· A Street Rodders all-denominational church service on Sunday morning.
· Entertainment during each day’s activities
· NSRA Safety Program - This program is a voluntary check of the owner’s vehicle for all aspects of safety. The safety inspectors volunteer all of their time.
· Over $100,000 worth of Super Prizes given away throughout the weekend to participants
· In addition, in 2008 NSRA has developed a new program called “THE NSRA SUNDAY $WEEP$TAKE$”. Event participants have a chance to win one of three $3,000.00 checks to be paid to the lucky winners in the form of a check from the National Street Rod Association. Almost all of the York Expo Center will be utilized for the event as well as most of the buildings, which will house over 180 manufacturer and dealer displays and other attractions.
The host organization, NSRA, defines a street rod as a modernized vintage vehicle that must be of pre 1949 manufacture. These vehicles are equipped with the latest options available on the newest model vehicles, including but not limited to disc brakes, air conditioning, cruise control, and tilt steering wheel. Most of those attending have updated the engine and drive train to enable the owner to cruise down the highway in comfort and safely maintain the speeds traveled by more modern vehicles. This enables owners to drive their vehicles from all over the United States. All vehicles must be driven on to the grounds.
This is truly a national gathering of fine vintage automobiles of every description. The NSRA Street Rod Nationals East is the area’s largest participation event and many spectators from around the area will attend the event.
The NSRA Street Rod Nationals East is an excellent event for spectators to attend and those who take time to attend will be treated to the sights and sounds of some of the most beautiful, best constructed vintage vehicles ever assembled in one place. One of the special attractions for the spectators is that they can walk right up to the vehicles and check each one out close up as they are not roped-off or otherwise confined. All are in the open and can be examined top to bottom, front to back, inside and out. While the exquisite paint and other features of the car should not be touched, spectators are free to look to their heart’s content.

WHAT: 35th Annual Street Rod Nationals East, the regions largest and most spectacular street rod show.

WHERE: York Expo Center - York, PA
FEATURES: See 4,200 pre-1949 street rods from all over the Eastern United
States and farther. A street rod is defined as a modernized vintage automobile -
must be of 1948 or earlier manufacture. These cars have beautiful paint, and
luxurious interiors. Many include modern chassis features such as four-wheel disc
brakes, along with air conditioning, cruise control, tilt steering, and exotic stereo
systems. Vehicles must be driven to the event to be eligible for any and all
awards presented during the event.
ATTRACTION: Street rods in attendance range in value from $8,000 to $100,000 each,
with an average of $28,000 per vehicle. RESULT: Street rods in attendance here
have a worth of over $117 million dollars.
SPECIAL ATTRACTION: The all new Street Rod Nationals East Model Car Contest in 2008.

ACTIVITIES: Cars will be on display for public viewing throughout the day, while entered

be featured for all ages as well, many just for the children and ladies. Live
entertainment will perform during the day and night time too. Over $100,000.00 in
Super Prize giveaways, plus a special “NSRA Sunday $weep$take$” giveaway to be presented to the participants of the Street Rod Nationals East all compliments of the National Street Rod Association®.
SPECIAL: On Sunday June 8th, a “Circle of Winners” will be featured on the grounds,
with the award winning street rods of the 35th Annual Street Rod Nationals East

Memphis, Tennessee: - Over 2,100 street rods will be on hand at the Missouri Entertainment & Event Center this spring as the National Street Rod Association® presents its 25th Annual Mid-America Street Rod Nationals®. The dates for the city’s largest vintage car show will be May 23, 24, 25, 2008.

2008 25TH ANNUAL
NSRA MID-AMERICA STREET ROD NATIONALS
What: 25TH Annual Mid-America Street Rod Nationals, the areas largest,
most spectacular street rod event.
When: Friday, Saturday & Sunday May 23,24,25
Where: Missouri Entertainment & Event Center, Springfield, MO.
Features: There will be over 2200 pre-1949 street rods from all over the
Central United States and farther. A street rod is defined as a
modernized vintage automobile, it must have been manufactured in
1948 or earlier. It can also be a reproduction of a 1948 or earlier
automobile. These vehicles will be painted every color of the
rainbow and they will have very luxurious interiors equipped with
items such as leather upholstery, air-conditioning, high-end stereos,
cruise control and power everything. Anything you can equip a new
car with, you will find on a street rod. All of the street rods must
be driven to the event site to be eligible to win one of many
awards that will be presented at the event.
Attractions: The street rods will be on display for public viewing
throughout the event. There will also be a variety of activities
such as kids and adult games, Women’s World/Arts & Crafts Show, Ladies Tea, Friday evening entertainment, a vintage automobile swap meet and a non-denominational church service on Sunday. There will also be NSRA’S own Super Prize Program, worth over $100,000, and last but certainly not least there will be three drawings for cash give-aways. All you have to do to be eligible to win any of the prizes is to be a registered participant of the 2008 Mid-America Street Rod Nationals. All of the prizes are courtesy of the National Street Rod Association.
Special Displays: On Sunday, May 25, the award winning street rods of
the 25th Annual Mid-America Street Rod Nationals will be on display at the “Circle of Winners” awards area. The awards ceremony will take place at 2:00 p.m. Sunday.
